A Brief Discussion on Common Thermal Production Methods in Glass Bottle Factories
Published: 2018/8/15   Read:220 times
In terms of deep processing of glass bottles, in addition to cold work, glass bottle factories more commonly use thermal work, which is the production method between the melting point (1450 degrees) and the cooling point (450 degrees). In this chapter, the editor will introduce the manufacturing methods of thermal engineering to everyone.
The pressing method injects molten hot glass paste into the already engraved pattern mold to form blocks while also pressing the pattern. Sand mold casting involves pressing the model into sand of moderate depth and spraying wet acetylene to prevent the sand mold from collapsing. The glass paste is then poured into the sand mold and allowed to cool slightly before being removed and ground for further processing. One of the earliest techniques used to make glass windows is embryo heart forming, which involves mixing soil and horse manure to create an embryo heart. The embryo heart is then coated with hot glass paste on top of a metal rod to form the main body of the container, and the pattern is outlined by wrapping glass fibers around the outer surface. After cooling, the embryo heart is excavated to complete the process.
Lamp torch thermoplastic is heated by a small spray gun or lamp torch, also known as lamp torch thermoplastic. It only uses various boron glass or sodium glass colored rods, and uses techniques such as stretching, twisting, and winding to continuously form shapes, suitable for small and delicate expressions such as glass beads, animals, and plants. Due to the different types of glass rods used, they can be classified as solid, hollow, and brushed thermoplastic. In addition, they can also be paired with colored paintings to increase the fun of the artwork.
After wrapping the wax mold with refractory gypsum in the wax removal casting method, the glass raw material and the empty mold are heated in the furnace at the same time. The glass slowly flows into the mold at high temperature to form, and is placed in the furnace for wax removal. The gypsum mold is slowly removed by cooling, and then the grinding and planing process is completed. The powder casting method fills glass blocks and glass powder into a pre designed model, and puts it into a furnace to heat up and melt into a whole glass work.

Finally, there is a common production process in glass bottle factories that everyone is familiar with - blowing. Blow molding originated in the first year of the Roman Empire and remains the most important, widely used, and varied method of glass production to this day. Blowing is mainly focused on windows, and the process refers to using a blowing tube to pick up molten glass paste, blowing air to form small bubbles, then using tools to thermoplastic shape, and then using another blowing tube to pick up a small amount of glass for bridging and connecting the bottom, knocking down the work slowly.
